LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Kissan Ittehad on Thursday staged a sit-in protest outside Punjab Assembly and was attended by farmers from across the country, Dunya News reported.

The union demanded to boycott agricultural trade with India and end General Sales Tax (GST) on farmers.

According to details, the demonstrators staged the sit-in protest at Chairing Cross outside the Punjab Assembly and blocked the Mall Road from both sides.

They protestors kept dancing and chanting loud slogans. They demanded the government to immediately review the agricultural policies and bring reforms in them.
