Rashid Godil is conscious now, says doctor
Doctor Jahanzaib at Liaquat National Hospital said the MQM leader's condition is improving now.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Talking to Dunya News, Doctor Jahanzaib Mughal said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader is conscious now.
The doctor said he has personally talked to Godil.
“Thank God, I am alive,” the MQM leader stated as he opened his eyes.
On Tuesday, four attackers on motorcycles opened fire on Godil’s car, critically wounding him and killing his driver in the eastern Bahadurabad neighbourhood.
The politician was struck by five bullets to his head, jaw and chest.
