KARACHI (Dunya News) – A clash between media personnel and security guards was witnessed at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
As per details, the scuffle was started when security officers raged over parking media vans outside the hospital. The clash injured several journalists and reporters whereas the cameras were also destroyed during the brawl.
On the arrival of hospital spokesman Anjum Rizvi, Media proffessionals gathered outside the hospital to protest against the torture of security men and refused to hear his stance.
Meanwhile, Rangers and policemen were also barred from entering the hospital due to unknown reason.
Information Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from Inspector General (IG) Sindh as early as possible. He has also directed to take stern action against the perpetrators.
