PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The first Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) left Bacha Khan International Airport on Tuesday with 260 intending pilgrims onboard, Dunya News reported.
As per details, the pilgrims were first taken to the Hayatabad camp where they were informed about all the Hajj rituals. On this occasion, local administration ensured strict security of the passengers.
As many as 24,500 people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been scheduled to perform Hajj this year.
Earlier, the director Hajj Shakeel Ahmad Sethi told the media that it was the first flight that left for Saudi Arabia.
