LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) has approved interim bail of suspect Tanzeel-ur-Rehman in Kasur child abuse scandal, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Anwar-ul-Haq heard the case during which the accused Tanzeel pleaded innocence in the case and told the court that policemen intentionally filed a case against him. The lawyer stated that his client wants to record his statement due to which he needs interim bail.
Subsequently, the court directed the officials not to arrest Tanzeel till August 31.
