Government showing negligence in Kasur child abuse case: Reham Khan

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s wife Reham Khan has said that Kasur incident could have occurred in any city however; the government like Model Town incident is also negligent in this matter, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

While talking to media after the ceremony regarding street children, Reham Khan said that Kasur incident is the failure of the rulers as laws are present in the country but are not being implemented.

She stated that NGOs can only work against such incidents but do not have the authority to take action because the right to conduct operation reserves with the government.

She urged that all NGOs and political parties should unite against Kasur incident and should raise their voice against it.

Reham Khan said that the nation cannot suggest any punishment for the suspects as the courts do exist and it is their task to punish the culprits.
