KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly has approved third amendment in local government bill 2015 during session today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.

Provincial local bodies leader Nasir Hussain presented the bill in the House and stated that amendments have been made as per Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP’s) directives.

According to the bill, number of women seats has been raised to 33. Dual nationality holders below age 25 years can participate in LB polls whereas every Union Council (UC) would have a Chairman, Vice Chairman, two women councilors, one laborer and one member from minorities.
