Degrees of 2 MNAs, 1 MPA found bogus

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has declared three more degrees of lawmakers as fake. PPPs two MNAs Ramesh Lal and Ghulam Mustafas degrees have been found bogus while Balochistan Assembly member Bakhtiyar Khans degree has also been proven fake. Bakhtiyar was elected from PB-21 Sibbi as an independent candidate. On the other hand, Karachi University in the 2nd and 3rd phase of degrees verification has confirmed the degrees of 14 lawmakers while it has declared two degrees as suspicious. According to sources, degrees of those declared original include Khushbakht Shujaat, Mir Hazaar Khan Bajrani, Agha Siraj Durrani, Abdur Rauf Siddiqi, Faisal Raza Abidi, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Safdar Abbasi, Ameer Nawab, Muqeem Alam, Zareen Majeed, Dr. Azra Afzal, S.A. Qadri, Hassan Aftab and Waseem Ahmed. Degrees of Shama Mithani and Muhammad Khan are found doubtful.
