SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) – Rangers Deputy Superintendent Jabbar Abbasi was martyred while another two officials were injured in a cross fire against criminals during an operation in Shikarpur on Tuesday.
The crossfire also left one of the robbers dead. According to details, a heavy contingent of Rangers surrounded Golo Daro area upon a tip off and that’s when the armed criminals including suspected robbers and target killers opened fire.
The crossfire left Deputy Superintendent dead on the spot while another two personnel Mushtaq and Asmatullah were heavily injured.
The robber that was killed in the crossfire was identified as Shaban. One passer-by identified as Abdul was also killed in the crossfire.
The backup of Rangers and police reached the sight and took several suspects into custody in a comprehensive search operation.
