Summary Several PML-N and PPP leaders have given green signal to join PTI

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has started contacting dissident members of other political parties in light of present political situation in the country, Dunya News reported.

Reportedly, many members from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have given green signal to join the PTI.

The sources said that this development from PTI has come in the wake of upcoming local body election in Punjab, anticipated decisions from election tribunals and judicial commission probing alleged election fraud, and overall prevailing political uncertainty.

PTI chairman Imran Khan has even assigned responsibilities regarding Central Punjab to his advisors. Sources said that former State Minister Sumsam Bukhari, former provincial minister Ashraf Sohna, former state minister Tariq Anis and several PPP leaders including two former lawmakers have given green signal to join PTI soon.

The sources further told that a large number of political leaders are expected to join PTI from Lahore city as well.
