Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has reiterated that the restoration of democracy and judiciary was only possible since media gave enormous sacrifices. He applauded the media for bearing all sorts of torture committed by the dictator.Shahbaz Sharif was addressing from a gathering held to distribute lease documents of 73000 acres government land to 123 agriculture graduates here, Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to journalist and said that it is only media that the Punjab government was able to initiate development projects worth Rs 130 billion. CM announced a Rs500 million package for development projects in Cholistan. He also inaugurated a dairy farm in Fort Abbas, Sharif. He added that the government is taking important measures to make the Cholistan a fertile region.
