All Pakistan Flour Mills Association (APFMA) continues to observe a nation-wide strike for the third consecutive day against the unofficial ban imposed by Sindh Food Department on arrival of wheat from Punjab.The APFMA announced a protest strike, saying that the Sindh food department was hampering the flow of wheat from Punjab. The majority of the flour mills remained shut in southern Punjab and Sindh against the hurdles in supply to Sindh and export of the commodity to Afghanistan. APFMA spokesman warned that the strike would continue till the acceptance of their demands. The flour mills in Balochistan are not taking part in the strike since the flour mill owners believe that ample amount of supply is available in the country. The flour mills owner further stated that flour is easily available across the province.
