KARACHI (Dunya News) – Opposition protested against water shortage and staged a symbolic walk out from the Sindh Assembly today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
The meeting was presided over by Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza. While talking about non-availability of water in Karachi, opposition leader Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan said that in this whole situation administrator Karachi is nowhere to be seen therefore; a new administrator should be appointed.

Sindh Minister for Local Bodies Sharjeel Memon said that list of those areas not getting water should be provided to him as he is trying to improve the water board system which has been disfigured by the previous government.
All the house members protested against the water crisis and stage a walk out while chanting slogans on which Sharjeel Memon stated that it seems that this walk out is on BBC’s report rather than water shortage.
On the other hand, Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza took notice of the argument between security guards and MPA Rehana Lagari at the gate of Sindh Assembly and has summoned police officials, Inspector General (IG) Sindh including all the staff.
