RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has abandoned as many as 15 witnesses of prosecution after declaring them unnecessary in Benazir Bhutto murder case, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
When the case came up for hearing before Judge Rai Mohammad Ayub Khan of the ATC at Adiala Jail, the prosecution presented at least 15 witnesses who were later abandoned by the court claiming that their evidence was not necessary for the case.
Subsequently, the court has adjourned the hearing of the case till June 29.
