ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah on Thursday said Pakistan on its part is committed to good neighborly relations with all the regional countries including India, however, there are some serious issues between the two countries which need to be resolved through dialogue.

Addressing the weekly press briefing, the spokesperson said normalisation of ties between Pakistan and India is vital for peace and development in the region.

He said Pakistan will welcome any positive step that promote peace and bilateral relations between the two countries.

When asked about raising issue of Modi’s admission of his India s role in the breakup of Pakistan at international forum, Qazi Khalilullah said Pakistan will take all appropriate actions necessary to protect its interests.

To a question, the foreign office spokesperson said the ISIS does not have a footprint in Pakistan. Many countries have taken action collectively and individually against the outfit. He said Pakistan stands committed in the war on terrorism and this role has also been appreciated by the international community.
