Summary Many of KP government’s demands have been met in the meeting, according to sources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister Khwaja Asif met with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Tuesday. Federal government agreed to allot electricity to KP government according to quota, reported Dunya News.
During the meeting it has been agreed upon to send the matter of net hydel profit to Council of Common Interests (CCI).
The meeting was attended by federal ministers Khaqan Abbasi, Abid Sher Ali, Chairman Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and officials from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Many of KP government’s demands have been met in the meeting, according to sources.
Federal government will provide electricity on quota to KP government while bearing the cost of repair of transformers will responsibility of KP government.
According to sources, the matter of net hydel profit has been forwarded to Council of Common Interests (CCI).
