Khursheed Shah urges govt to set priorities over CPEC route

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah on Tuesday has stated that the government should set priorities over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route to take opposition parties into confidence, Dunya News reported.

While talking to media, Khursheed Shah said that we don’t have any objection on CPEC route and appreciated the step of China for investing Rs $46 million in Pakistan.

He expressed that we don’t want Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to feel sense of deprivation because of changed CPEC route.

During a meeting with parliamentary members of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) held in Islamabad, the leaders strongly condemned government’s bill over Gas Infrastructure Development Cess and urged the government to include their amendments as well.

Khursheed Shah revealed that as many as five amendments were presented before the authorities.

Administration should return the money taken from customers and should not ask for profit, he added.
