Lahore High Courts Rawalpindi Bench has declared PML-N MPA Yasir Raza as ineligible in a fake degree case and ordered re-election in PP-13. Ishtiaq Mirza filed a petition contending that Yasirs Matric, FA and BA degrees are fake. However, during the last hearing the said degrees have been declared genuine, but the petitioner told the court once again that the FA degree is fake, adding that some other persons photo is pasted on his FA admission form. Federal Board controller exams told the court that the Board maintained record of only ten years. The court today concluding the hearing declared Yasir as ineligible having fake degree of BA. This is not the first time that the court has declared ineligible any MNA or MPA. Earlier, the LHC had declared another PML-N MNA Javed Hasnain ineligible for having fake academic degree. Javeds rival Mehar Akram filed a petition in the court contending that the formers degree was fake taken from a seminary. Javed was elected from NA-68 Sargodha. Justice Ijaz Chaudhry of LHC rejected the degree of the said MNA and announced him as ineligible for the post.
