Summary Sports Minister says enemies' ill intentions will not realize, will restore cricket in Pakistan

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Preparations for Pakistan-Zimbabwe series are at their peak at the Gaddafi Stadium of Lahore. Home Minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada has said that army may also be called in for Zimbabwe team’s security if needed. Meanwhile, provincial Sports Minister Rana Mashhood has said that the ill intentions of the enemies will never realize and the government will restore international cricket in Pakistan, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media after heading a high level meeting on Zimbabwe team’s security at Gaddafi Stadium, Shuja Khanzada said that the visitors will be given fool proof security. He said that there are solid proofs of RAW’s hands in sabotaging efforts for bringing cricket back to Pakistan.

Rana Mashhood said on this occasion that international cricket was going to be restored in Pakistan and more international teams will visit Pakistan after Zimbabwe. He said that rumors were being spread about Pakistan across the world but enemies will be forced to bite dust.

Special Branch and intelligence agencies presented their reports regarding all the localities around Lahore Airport during this meeting. It was decided in the meeting that security will be further improved, keeping in view the reports presented by the law-enforcing agencies.
