Summary Former Governor Punjab was made the head of the committee looking for reasons of PTI's defeat
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has on Sunday declined from investigating the reasons of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) defeat in the recently held cantonment board local body elections. He is the head of the committee set up for investigating the reasons of defeat, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Chairman PTI Imran Khan had set up a committee to investigate the reasons of PTI’s defeat in the cantonment board elections and Chaudhry Sarwar had been made the head of this committee. Secretary General PTI Jehangir Khan Tareen had also issued a notification for this purpose.
However, Sarwar has declined from investigations due to personal engagements. He has also informed the party leadership about his decision.
