Imran Khan cancels visit to Karachi, Gilgit-Baltistan
Khan was scheduled to leave for Karachi on May 13 but cancelled it due to bad weather.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s (PTI) chairman Imran cancelled his Gilgit-Baltistan and Karachi visit today (Sunday) due to bad weather condition, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Imran Khan was to address a procession at Gilgit-Baltistan but could not depart as the weather worsened.
Khan’s wife Reham Khan, Jahangeer Tareen and Faisal Javed were also to accompany him to Gilgit-Baltistan.
He cancelled his visit there and instead planned to visit Karchi to condole the family of victims and meet the Ismaili community but could not depart due to troubled weather situation.
Earlier, Khan was scheduled to leave for Karachi on May 13 but later called off the visit as the weather condition turned bad.
