Naltar tragedy: PM Nawaz announces one-day mourning
Prime Minister Nawaz extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has declared one-day mourning over the Naltar helicopter crash which claimed lives of six people including Norwedian and Philippine ambassadors and injured 13 others.
On the Prime MInister s directions, an aircraft and helicopters have been placed to evacuate injured diplomats while arrangements have also been made to transport dead bodies to Islamabad.
PM Nawaz has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
The prime minister was enroute to Gilgit but cancelled his visit after the incident.
