ATC acquits woman in kidnapping for ransom case after reconciliation

MULTAN (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Multan has acquitted a woman who was arrested in kidnapping for ransom case, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

According to details, the woman was released after reconciliation with the victim’s family by ATC judge Sajjad Ahmed in court number two.

The woman named Abida Balochni was arrested earlier in December 2014 for kidnapping a man Mazhar after giving him intoxicating drinks.

A case was registered against her under 800/14 in Fareed Town police station Sahiwal.
