ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Wednesday that blue prints for Economic Corridor were also present in Musharraf-era. He said that the route for economic corridor has not been elaborated. He also enquired the reason as to why Imran Khan was not invited to dinner for Chinese President, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a press conference, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that there has been talk regarding the Economic Corridor for many years now adding that the government did not take Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government or any other political party into confidence.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the matter should have been discussed in Senate and Council of Common Interest (CCI).
The Vice-President of party appeared in poetic mood adding that while Pak-China friendship is sweeter than honey, Moulana Fazlur Rehman s politics is deeper than the sea.
PTI Leader Asad Umar enquired the terms on which a loan of 32 billion dollars had been taken and asked who would bear the burden of the debt, it is learned.
