Summary Voters whose Id cards have expired have also been allowed to vote in the by-election
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Tuesday allowed the voters with expired National Identity Cards to vote in the NA-246 by-elections, reported Dunya News.
In a letter to Returning Officer, ECP has directed all the Presiding Officers to allow people with expired NIC to vote. They have also directed them not to accept a photocopy of the NIC or passport from voters as valid proof.
