KARACHI (Dunya News) – A control room on Monday has been established to monitor the by-election in the NA-246 constituency. Two independent candidates have withdrawn from the election.
Ballot papers’ printing has been completed for the by-election under the supervision of the Pakistan Army. The ballots have been handed over to the returning officers (ROs) and district officers.
At least 4 lac ballots have been printed for the by-election. The ballots will be given to the presiding officers on April 22. As many as 213 polling stations have been formed for the election on April 23.
A ban on pillion riding has been imposed in the city from April 21 to April 24. The enactment of the ban will be done from 12 am today (Monday).
