PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar arrested a commander of banned militant group today (Monday), Dunya News reported.

According to details, CTD conducted an operation in Sarband police station area and detained Commander Alam Zaib having head money worth Rs 5 lac.

Police also confiscated weapons from his possession and shifted him to undisclosed location for interrogation.

The suspect is involved in three attacks on police officials which claimed the lives of one sub-inspector Riaz Khan and three soldiers Laiq Shah, Muhammad Javaid and Shaukat Ali.
