ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chinese president Xi Jinping on Monday has received a historic welcome as his aircraft landed at the Noor Khan Airbase.

Jinping received a 21-gun-salute as he came out the aircraft. A guard of honour was presented to the Chinese presented. Pakistan Air Force JF-17 Thunder jets presented a fly-past and honoured the Chinese president.

Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain welcomed the Chinese president. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, air chief Sohail Aman and naval chief Admiral Zakaullah were also present on the occassion.

Children presented flower bouquets to the Chinese president and the delegates. China s first lady is accompanying her husband on his two-day visit to Pakistan.
