Summary Altaf should actually apologize for burning laborers in Baldia Town factory, says Siraj
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) head Sirajul Haq has on Sunday said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain should seek forgiveness from nation, not from establishment. “For what crimes Altaf is apologizing from establishment” question JI head.
Talking to media, Siraj said that Altaf should apologize for the burning laborers in Baldia Town factory and lawyers to death. He said that Karachi is under MQM’s occupation for the last 24 years. “People of Karachi have been silenced through coercion”, he said.
Sirajul Haq said that JI was contesting this election to give voice to the people of Karachi. “We will light candles of peace in every street of Karachi”, he said. He said that Karachi will be run under the vision of founder of the country Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. “We will not run Karachi from London”, he said.
JI head said that it was now up to the people of Karachi whether they need love or hatred. He said that JI was in contact with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and mutual relations will not deteriorate because of this election.
