KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday urged Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to let people vote as they wish this time, adding that the NA 246 by-election will determine the future of the people of Karachi, Dunya News reported.

PTI chairman said his party will do everything to win the election, adding that the Election Commission has declined to implement the biometric system but not the CCTV cameras.

He said if Jamaat Islami wants to play the match then it has every right to do so.

Talking to the press from PTI General Secretary Arif Alvi’s residence, Khan said that he has come to congratulate NA 246 candidate Imran Ismail because he has ‘ended the fear of people of Karachi’.

Khan said that the Rangers should ensure on the polling day that no one is able to instill fear on the voters.

Imran Khan reiterated that the formation of judicial commission is a victory for PTI, adding that he will furnish all the proofs of alleged election rigging there.

He said at least 21 parties have admitted that the general election 2013 was rigged.

Earlier, PTI leader Ali Zaidi and candidate Imran Ismail accused that identity cards are being forcefully taken from the voters, adding that the voters are being intimidated into voting for MQM.

Imran Ismail said that it is crucial for the staff conducting the election to be neutral.
