Unidentified men in police uniform got three proclaimed criminals released from the custody of Mochiwala Police Station and successfully fled from the scene.According to Mochiwala Police, the incident took place when the proclaimed criminals were being taken back after producing them before a Magistrate. The armed men in police uniform attacked the police vehicle on Faisalabad Road. Imtiaz Bhatti along with accomplices Sheikh Muhammd Iqbal and Muahammad Sajid fled. They also snatched the weapons from policemen. A case has been registered against six policemen including the SHO Mochiwala Police Station Rana Farhad after their suspension on the directive of DPO Jhang Dr. Rizwan.
