Gunmen opened fire on a religious procession in Karachi, killing a man and wounding three others.The attack came as hundreds of protesters staged a rally to register protest against ban on pillion riding. Two or three armed men hiding behind the trees opened fire on hundreds of people carrying banners in the area of Quyam Abad. According to a spokesperson of Pasban, four participants in the rally were wounded in the attack, one of whom died later in hospital. Police failed to control the protesters who after reaching Karachi Press Club and chanted slogans against the government. The Pasban activist later on went to Jinnah Hospital and chanted slogans against the death of fellow worker.
