Summary Jehangir Tareen issued the notification of appointing him the head after Imran Khan's approval
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has on Sunday appointed seasoned legal expert Abdul Hafeez Pirzada as the head of its legal team to present rigging case before the judicial commission. The notification of his appointment was issued by Secretary General PTI Jehangir Tareen after approval by Chairman PTI Imran Khan, reported Dunya News.
PTI’s judicial commission task force, headed by Ishaq Khan Khakwani, met to consult over headship of the legal team and recommended appointing Hafeez Pirzada as legal team’s head. Imran Khan approved Pirzada’s appointment upon the recommendation of the task force.
PTI has already named the other three lawyers to represent it before the judicial commission. These lawyers include Farrukh Dayal Advocate, Qaiser Abbas Advocate and Anees Hashmi.
