Holbrooke, talking alongside with Qureshi said Pakistan facing major challenges in energy and water sectors. He said seven working groups are meeting in Islamabad. He said Pakistan products access to international market is a major issue, the world should be informed about investment opportunities in Pakistan. Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and the US special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistanh Richard Holbrooke have discussed bilateral cooperation in defence, science and energy sectors. Earlier, Richard Holbrooke called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed promotion of cooperation in war against terrorism and assistance in various sectors. Prime Minister Gilani during a meeting said that Pakistan facing financial hardships due to the country's frontline state role in the war against terrorism. Holbrooke lauded Pakistan's role in anti-terror war and assured wholehearted support to the country from United States. Interior, finance, foreign affairs ministers and other top officials also attended the meeting.
