LARKANA: (Dunya News) – Death anniversary ceremony of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto has been cancelled in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh due to torrential rains. The ceremony will now be held in Naudero House, reported Dunya News.

It rained heavily in Larkana on Friday and more rain has been forecasted on Saturday. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) caravans coming from other cities have also been directed not to come to Larkana in view of the cancellation of the ceremony. However, several caravans have already left for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

PPP workers have also left for Larkana from Lahore via train. PPP leader Agha Siraj Durrani has said that rainwater has filled Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and the party did not want to trouble the workers.

Ceremony will now be held in Naudero House where Co-Chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari and other central leaders of the party will address the workers.
