Summary JI focuses on people-friendly policies, says Sirajul Haq
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief on Saturday has said that the law makers of the country who function under the influence of foreign powers could not steer the country out of crisis.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the two-day training workshop of JI in Mansoora.
He said that the clash in the country is not among Sindhi, Balochi, Pathan and Punjabi, it is between the ruler and the ruled. The Senator said that JI would soon start a Rabtaa Awam campaign. He said that the campaign would aim at making famous personalities and cricketers part of JI who then be given different responsibilities.
Haq said that JI would emerge as a big party in the coming elections as it focuses on people-friendly policies in light of the country’s situation.
The training workshop also reviewed the preparations regarding local body (LB) polls.
