Special US Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke cancelled his Pakistans visit as President Zardari and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi have some preoccupations in Shanghai and Turkey respectively. According to the Foreign Office, Holbrooke was coming to discuss recent US-India strategic talks, Clintons visit to China, Afghan Peace Jirga and other important issues with the President and the FM. The special envoy was told that President Zardari was in Tashkent to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation while the FM is in Turkey.
