Summary The judicial officers showed reservation for not attaching along copy of Mirza's death warrant
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Death row convict Saulat Mirza’s sister on Friday has submitted a clemency petition without attaching along a copy of the death warrant in the High Court Office (HCO). Earlier, the office had rejected the application for not having attached along the copy of death warrant.
Sumera Wajahat, Saulat’s sister submitted an application to the HCO upon which the judicial officers showed reservation for not attaching along copy of Mirza’s death warrant. However, the officials forwarded the clemency appeal to the court.
It is upon the discretion of the court whether it entertains the appeal or not.
