Summary The government would make sure that the people get their due rights, says Shahbaz Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday has said that it is the duty of the government to protect the interests of the people and it would make sure that their demands are met. He said that illicit profits and hoarding would not be tolerated.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the Price Control Committee in Lahore.
He directed the authorities to continue implementing the strategy charted out by the government for provision of necessary items to the people on cheaper rates. He also ordered the authorities concerned to take strict indiscriminate action against the people who violate the rules and sell items on hiked prices.
The CM further said that the government would make sure that the people get their due rights.
