Summary Both leaders resolved to stay in contact
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday contacted Jamaat Islami chief Sirajul Haq and sought support for the post of chairmanship and deputy chairmanship in Senate, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, Zardari called Sirajul Haq on Sunday evening and both leaders exchanged views over the ongoing political situation in the country.
Zardari sought Haq’s support for the key posts i.e. chairman and deputy chairman in the Senate. Both leaders resolved to stay in contact.
Sirajul Haq also talked to Maulana Samiul Haq and Khawaja Saad Rafique and exchanged views over the Senate elections situation.
