Karachi violence: Two doctors among 4 gunned down

Four people including two doctors have been gunned down in a fresh wave of target killing in Karachi on Thursday. Todays incident pushed the tally of those killed in the target killing to 12 in the last 24 hours, police said. Police said some unidentified people gunned down Dr Junaid Shakir near Apwa School in New Karachi while in Gulistan-e-Jauhar some unknown miscreants killed one 23-year-old Babar.In the similar incident, Dr Hassan Haider has been mowed down in Karachi City Colony Block No 4.In Lyari, a tortured dead body of a youth has been found in KalaKot area. He was said to be tortured before being shot dead. Heavy contingents of police and Rangers have been deployed in the clash-rigged and tense areas.
