LAHORE (Dunya news) – Another female maid on Tuesday suffered at the hands of her owner. The female domestic help was raped and abused by the owner of the house where she worked. The maid named Shakeela Bibi was allegedly raped and abused by contractor named Safdar. The abused victim could not get justice as the police refused to register a case against Safdar on Shakeela Bibi’s request. The destitute family of the victim was forced to turn towards the session court for justice.
The victim Shakeeli Bibi through her lawyer told the court that Safdar had ruined her life. She said that even the police were not giving her justice now hence a case should be registered. The court approved of her case hearing. The court also ordered a report regarding the Station House Officer (SHO) North Base not registering a case against the alleged abuse of the victim.
