Pakistans foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has strongly condemned Israels attack on Gaza aid ships and called it a barbaric act and a violation of international law. He said that the first priority of Pakistan is to get information about our people and people of other nationalities and to ensure safety of remaining people. the foreign minister said that he is also trying to contact with his Turkish counterpart and Pakistan's envoys in Turkey, Jordan and Egypt were directed to get information on that serious issue. On contact with the United States, the foreign minister said that US has influence on Israel and Pakistan would talk with US on the issue. Meanwhile, a statement by the Foreign Office said, The killing of members of this humanitarian mission, which also included women, is brutal, inhuman and constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and norms,. The Government of Pakistan is seriously concerned over the well-being and whereabouts of the Pakistani citizens and media personnel including Syed Talat Hussain and Raza Mahmood Agha who were on board the Flotilla bound for Gaza.
