ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday claimed that progress has been made in investigation of Shikarpur imambargah blast, Dunya News reported.

Speaking in the National Assembly, the Interior Minister stated that elements behind this tragic incident have been identified but details cannot be made public at this moment.

More than 60 people died and dozens sustained injuries when a suicide bomber targeted Karbala-e-Moalla Imambargah in Lakhidar area of Shikarpur district in Sindh last Friday.

Those involved in the incident will be brought to justice, Chaudhry Nisar said.

He said that nation cannot forget Peshawar school martyrs. Terrorists will pay the price for bloodshed.

Giving remarks on ties with Afghanistan, the minister said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are fully cooperating with each other and there has been improvement in intelligence sharing.
