Three more die in famine-struck Thar, death toll rises to 353
Thar affectees urged the government to take practical step instead of promising verbally.
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – The dearth of food has continued taking lives of minor children in Thar as three more children died of Thar famine today (Thursday), taking the death toll to 353 in four-month.
Residents of Thar are still waiting for rescue activities whereas lack of medicinal aid and shortage of para-medical staff have further hyped the issue.
On the other hand, Thar affectees stated that the government should take practical step instead of claiming high verbally.
