Karachi: Candles lit in memory of martyrs of Shikarpur incident
Solidarity with families of the martyred is still being shown.
KARACHI (Dunya news) – Candles were lit on Wednesday in memory of those martyred in the Shikarpur incident. The ceremony was organized by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at Do Talwar Chowk. Participants of the candle lighting ceremony also protested on the fact that no arrests were made in regards to this incident.
According to the details, solidarity with families of the martyred is still being shown. The participants demonstrated their anger on governments inaction and inability to arrest those involved. The protestors demanded that the accused should be arrested and brought to justice.
The Shikarpur blast which occurred a few days ago in an imambargah killed more than 60 people and left more than 50 injured.
