The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has informed the Supreme Court that former President of the Bank of Punjab Hamesh Khan would be brought back to Pakistan on May 14.Three member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry reviewed the proceedings of case. Hameshs lawyer said that the American government has expressed concerns over free and fair trial. Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday remarked that such comments is an insult to Pakistan. He said that Afzal Sheikhs example is in front of us.Defense lawyer Muhmud A. Sheikh said that his client Hamesh Khan has expressed concerns of physical and mental torture from the authorities. The proceedings of the case have been suspended until May 14.
