Conservation plan would help end power crisis, assures PM

Expressing satisfaction over implementation of power conservation plan, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that both industrial and agricultural sectors top governments agenda. Addressing the Energy Conservation Conference held in Islamabad on Monday, the PM assured that the power crisis would be surmounted soon and claimed that under the abovesaid plan, unannounced loadshedding has been put to an end. He said the sugar industry has pledged to add 3,000 megawatts to the power sector.He hailed the role played by the provinces vis--vis the enforcement of energy conservation plan and urged closure of markets at 8:00pm.
