No compromise on Constitution, law: CJP

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Monday observed that the Constitution and laws would not be compromised at any cost. During the hearing of the case of F-9 Park fast food outlet, the CJ observed that the constitution would be given full protection, and added that the court could have protected the NRO, but we want to ensure the supremacy of constitution and upholding of the rule of law. On the occasion, Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday asked that Do the judges suppose to forgive only as apologies are being extended after every mistake and blunder. Ramday said that a mausoleum should be made at the little place left in the park to bury the Constitution.
