Interior Ministry has held Additional Secretary Tahir S arfraz for the appointment of Riaz Shaikh as additional director general of FIA even after his name came in the NRO beneficiaries list. During the hearing of a case on NRO implementation, Justice Raja Fiaz asked that should the PM be summoned regarding the implementation of court ruling. The court asked Attorney General Agha Tariq about the reason for non-implementation of the SC verdict on NRO. The AG said that the government respected the court, while Justice Fiaz observed that non-implementation the ruling showed that the government felt otherwise.
